For everyone who can’t get enough of the beauty of the Countryside, we have planned the Lovers’ Round. It leads through the Neustrelitzer Kleinseenland and promises a rural idyll behind every curve. Small secluded lakes invite you to take a break for those who like a refreshment. It is worth pedaling, hovering noiselessly on the narrow paths and clearing your head in the silence of nature. Culinary surprises lead you to convivial retreats.
It starts at Rumpshagen Castle. From there, the course leads straight through Ankershagen, where the dream of Troy learned to walk. Germany’s most famous archaeologist, Heinrich Schliemann, spent his early childhood here. The route leads via Pieverstorf through the gate of the Müritz National Park to the Havel source in Kratzeburg. After 36 kilometers the beautiful town of Wesenberg in Neustrelitzer Kleinseenland is reached, a place of happiness for water sports enthusiasts. After a bike supply, it continues via Groß Quassow, Liepen, Klein Vielen, and Ankershagen, before you return to Rumpshagen after 86 kilometers.
Here you will find the route 2020, which we present to you as a rough orientation on this map.
